Overview:

Abstract: Aim of the work was the development of a concept of conservation to stabilize the vulnerable inventory in the present situation. Part of the concept is an extensive analysis of the inventory and its condition leading to a classification of the findings and an evaluation of damage. The need for action was visualized by mappings of the wall, which enabled a conception of the conservational actions. Single actions have been tested on selected areas.
The evaluation of suggested actions in terms of their extent, their aesthetic impact and their costs was conducted to give advice for the future presentation of the rooms.
