Language: Original   -   Translation
Overview:

Abstract: The outside walls of the chapel are constructed from a natural sandstone (Hilssandstein) rock-face. The survey is based on a tachometer-system and a 3D-laser scanning. The historic substance is documented in drawings, by photograph and by an inventory of inscriptions. The state of the substance, condition- and material-analysis are based on the research of historical sources, the optical appearance and material examinations. These are for example done by the measurement of the capillary water absorption and the microscopically examination of stone thin sections. The surroundings are especially examined for there influents on the geological classification of the Hilsandstein (sand-stone), the effects on the chapel and the conservation advises (conservation proposal).
