| Abstract: | Air rifles from earlier centuries are known as Windbüchsen (wind rifles). In this diploma thesis, a concept for the conservation and restoration of these rifles based on macroscopic and technical studies is developed and put into practice. The findings help to better understand the mechanical design of wind rifles. Subsequentily, they were used to reconstruct an air pump based on historical models. |
